Obeying God’s Call to Become a Servant Leader
Isaiah 6:1-8; Jeremiah 1:4-10
Golden Text : “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. ” - Isaiah 6:8 and “Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. ” - Jeremiah 1:6
Introduction
The call of God is always divinely initiated. The Lord knows us better that we know ourselves (Psalm 139:1-6). Whenever God calls someone into the ministry of servant leadership, He knows what He is doing, even when we don’t. Isaiah and Jeremiah responded very differently to the call of God. What is your response?

The Victory of Servant Leadership
I Corinthians 15:42-58
Golden Text : “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” - I Corinthians 15:57
Introduction
This letter was written by Paul to answer questions and to address problems in the church at Corinth. One of the problems he had to deal with was false teaching about resurrection. Some taught that the dead would not be raised from death. Paul questioned how they could say such a thing because if it were true, it would mean that Christ was not raised from the dead; and if Christ has not been raised from death then we have nothing to preach or nothing to believe. If God did not raise Christ from death our faith is a delusion and we are still lost in our sins. It would also mean that the believers in Christ who have died are lost. However, Paul answers the deniers at Corinth emphatically by standing on the truth of Christ’s resurrection as well as the coming resurrection of all who are in union with Christ.

What It Means to Be a Servant Leader
Matthew 20:16-28
Golden Text: “Even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his
life a ransom for many”.
– Matthew 20:28
Introduction
Jesus is the perfect example of what it means to be a servant leader. A servant leader must seek God daily in prayer, reading, and studying the Word of God. He or she must walk in the Spirit and be led of the Spirit. A servant leader should be obedient to God and wear
the armour of God.

– Matthew 16:19
